34,448 Illegal Immigrants Spared Deportation

In a perplexing development ignored by the mainstream media, the Obama Administration suspended tens of thousands of deportations last year and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano lied to a Senate committee to cover up the astounding figure.

Napolitano told the Senate Judiciary Committee that has oversight over the Department of  Homeland Security that her agency halted the deportation of only 900 illegal immigrants in fiscal year 2010. She did admit that the figure could be higher because it excludes “deferred action” granted to illegal immigrants for “humanitarian” reasons.

Not surprisingly, Madame Secretary never indicated how much higher the figure could be, which may lead many to conclude that she purposely deceived federal lawmakers. It turns out that the Obama Administration halted the deportation of 34,448 illegal immigrants last year, according to Homeland Security figures obtained independently by a Senator (Charles Grassley of Iowa) who sits on the Judiciary Committee.

After the Senate hearing, which took place last month in Washington D.C., Napolitano’s own staff corrected her atrocious lie, according to Senator Grassley’s press secretary, who provided Judicial Watch with the accurate number. According to Homeland Security figures provided to Senator Grassley’s staff, the combined deferred action and paroles of illegal immigrants in 2010 amounted to 34,448.

This appears to be part of the administration’s secret amnesty plan in case Congress doesn’t pass legislation to legalize the nation’s 12 million illegal immigrants. Devised by political appointees at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the plan aims to enact “meaningful immigration reform absent legislative action.”

This includes delaying deportation indefinitely (“deferred action”), granting green cards, allowing illegal immigrants to remain in the U.S. indefinitely while they seek legal status (known as “parole in place”) and expanding the definition of “extreme hardships” so any illegal alien could meet the criteria and remain in the country.

Last summer the Obama Administration ordered authorities to stop removing illegal immigrants who are students while lawmakers craft legislation to officially shield them from expulsion. The move, which has spared an estimated 700,000 illegal aliens, came in response to nationwide rallies by defiant illegal immigrants protesting their eminent removal or that of their undocumented parents.

Judicial Watch has sued the Department of Homeland Security to obtain records detailing the stealth amnesty plan because the agency has ignored a federal public records request that dates back to July 2010.

Should We Fear Martial Law?

There is an email going around that promotes preparing for and surviving Martial Law. I have not read the book yet but I plan to, if for nothing more than knowing what is being said about this subject.

I am not sure how much I believe the information discussed in the email, but I do know that Martial Law is something that is not at all far-fetched in an emergency. I also know that dissidents will be first on the list when Martial Law is proclaimed.

What Is A Dissident?

What determines whether or not you are a dissident is the subject I want to discuss with you for a moment.  A dissident is someone who is an enemy of the State, meaning someone who rebels against the establishment.

So, does this mean that I am a dissident because I write articles that question Government's motives? I suppose it is possible, but I am not doing anything that can be considered rebellious. I guess it depends on the government's interpretation of what I write, the affects I have on people to rebel, and the conditions the country is in at the time the government makes that determination.

I am a patriot and love America. Many of you are also patriots and love America as well. What would we have to do to be considered a dissident?

• We would have to promote rebellion through thought and actions.
  
  
  
  • So far, have any of my writings supported rebellion or anything like that, other than asking you to stand up as a Patriot and contact your Congressional Representatives if you are in disagree-ment with Congress?
• We would have to gather with others who are rebellious, and through association, be considered seditious.
  
  
  
  • I can assure you that I have not gathered with any groups that can be considered seditious. However, I do listen to The Fox News Channel, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Sarah Palin, and other Conservatives and I read reports from  As A MOM .org, GOPUSA.com, NewsMax.com, ConservativeAlert.com, PatriotPost.US,  GOP.com and TexasInsider.org. If that makes me seditious, then I'm guilty.
• We would have to speak and write about seditious things that are NOT typical of our heritage as an American.
  
  
  
  • Our American Heritage is founded on going against the grain of controlling government and loss of FREEDOM. Our Constitution was founded on PROTECTING freedom and the right to speak out when we disagree with government. So again, if what I am doing is seditious, then I guess I am a dissident.

However, none of my work or writing deal with Rebellion against government. I write about standing up for what's right, opening our mouths to protect our way of life, standing firmly to conservative values that made this nation great, and insisting that our elected officials stand by the standards set by our Founding Fathers. If you are reading my reports, that means you feel the same way as I do and want the same things.

The following statements are my response to the email report that I mentioned.

One cold, snowy January evening I was working late and ran across a report I probably never should have seen... the Army’s 2008 Modernization Strategy report, which predicted near constant conflicts in the future, both overseas and at home. An entire Command (NorthCom) had been created to deal with ‘natural or man-made’ emergencies, consisting primarily of battle-hardened soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan who could “use some of the skills they acquired in the war zone" to deal with "civil unrest and crowd control” here... in the United States!

Of course the government has a plan to institute Martial Law when there is civil unrest. You would expect that from your government and even demand it--if you are on the innocent side. However, what if you are on the opposite of the government's point of view.

Why Would Gov. Declare Martial Law?

• A natural disaster, where citizens are looting and rooming the streets with weapons and committing crime, would be a reason for declaring Martial Law, such as we saw in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina.
• Banks that collapse and shut down, as we saw during the Great Depression when people lost all their savings, would cause such lawlessness that it would warrant Martial Law.
  
  
  
  • A Side Note: I read several months ago that, in June of this year, banks would start folding and that, by September 2010, 138,000 banks will close. What do you think will happen when people lose their money?
• It has been foreasted for over a year now that the dollar was crashing and would be worthless. It appears that we are already there but no one is recognizing it yet.
  
  
  
  • Congress keeps spending money like there is no tomorrow, which I believe is NOT an accident. They know the situation better than we do but they keep spending anyway. Why? I believe they want to crash the dollar and the economy for a reason.
  • Crashing the Dollar and the Economy would allow them (Progressive Liberals) to enforce Martial Law. With no cash in the banks, the dollar being worthless, and the economy a disaster, people will willingly accept something they would not normally accept.
  • With the Dollar and the Economy crashed, government would have every reason to take complete control of our civil rights. We would have to accept One World Order, One World Currency, One World Government, One World Religion. I am talking about complete and utter dependence on government for everything! Government has already set things in motion for just that scenario.
• With an invasion coming from the North and the South, who are Anti-American and Anti-American Way of Life, there is going to be more and more conflict between these invading groups. When conflict becomes too much to protect the stability of our nation, Martial Law will be the only resolution.
  
  
  
  • Right now we have an invasion coming in from Mexico. These people are demanding that they be treated as Americans and put on free services.
  • Our Country and States cannot afford this invasion, it is already destabilizing the sovereignty of states and our nation--possibly causing state cessation from the Union if these problems continue.
  • By not protecting our borders to prevent our enemy from entering and mingling with Society, we expose ourselves to an out-of-balance situation and dangers. This is just asking for something bad to happen and people will break.

Problems With the Posse Comitatus Act

The next point I wish to respond to from the email is the Posse Comitatus Act and the supposed dangers of this act.

The email states: One of the first things you used to learn in boot camp is the Posse Comitatus Act, which was created 200 years ago to make sure the military was never used against the citizens. But, for all practical purposes, this law has now been completely negated through Executive Orders issued by Presidents Clinton, Bush and Obama.

I suspect that you will want to learn more on this subject as well. I will not tell you what to think, because it is your duty to find out more information and not just go by what other people say.

Being an American means we understand our Constitution and will do anything in our power to protect our way of life. If you can't do a little investigation on your own, then you don't deserve the privileges our Founding Fathers died to give us.


In addition to the other comments coming from this email, I do agree with this next point. In fact, if you've been reading my blog for a little while, you know that I am emphatic about actively protecting our rights and opening our mouths. I would love to hear what you think about this comment.

It Isn't All Obama's Fault

This video explains that the demise of the dollar has been in the making for decades. Presidents before Obama contributed to it's demise when they started printing money. However, President Obama and Congress are doing a great job of pushing the dollar over the edge.

It is also interesting how other nations have done the same thing. This isn't just an American problem but a world-wide problem. I think this video will help you have a better understanding of how we got to this place and what to expect from the future.

They Must Think America Isn't Paying Attention

People need to understand what the Democratic Party is trying to pass over on us. They are determined to pass a bill to save face. They MUST put out something that the President will sign and that they can sell to the people and Congress. We need to make sure we keep on the pressure and let Congress know we are watching. If they want to be elected back in 2010, they better start listening to the people.

No one argues that we need health care reform, and no one will argue that people who have no insurance need to be able to resolve their problem equitably, but most Americans don't want a plan that is obviously not affordable. What would have been said if President Bush or a Republican Congress had tried to push something like this on Americans? You know exactly what would happen. So why is it different now? You know the answer to that too; because Congress and the President think they can do whatever they want and the people can't do anything about it.

Are they right? Are they going to get away with ignoring the people? It's up to you to get this information out so people are made aware of what Congress and the President are trying to put over on us. Tell them they are wrong, that they cannot do this and get away with it without cost to them personally and professionally.

I would really appreciate your comments on this subject. I want to know how you feel about all this being done behind closed doors as well.
