Correction To Judge Carter Story

I appreciate the readers who corrected me on this incorrect story. I was in too big of a hurry to post without checking the facts so now I have egg on my face, and well deserved I might add. I thank all of you who have written me for keeping me on track. Thanks.

Federal Judge Carter sets Trial Date for Obama's Eligibility!

The expedited trial has been set for Jan. 26, 2010!

Many concerned veterans and citizens attended the hearing in Federal Court in Santa Ana in the lawsuit against Barack Obama to determine his eligibility to be President and Commander in Chief. About 150 people showed up, almost all in support of the lawsuit to demand that Obama release his birth certificate and other records that he has hidden from the American people..

Judge David Carter refused to hear Obama's request for dismissal. He indicated there was almost no chance that this case would be dismissed. Obama is arguing this lawsuit was filed in the wrong court if you can believe that. Obama would prefer a "kangaroo court" instead of a Federal court! Assuming Judge Carter denies Obama's motion for dismissal, he will likely then order expedited discovery which will force Obama to release his birth certificate in a timely manner (if he has one).

The judge, WHO IS A FORMER U.S. MARINE, repeated several times that this is A VERY SERIOUS CASE which must be resolved quickly so that the troops know that their Commander in Chief is eligible to hold that position and issue lawful orders to our military in this time of war. He basically said OBAMA MUST PROVE HIS ELIGIBILITY to the court! He said Americans deserve to know the truth about their President!

The two U.S. Attorneys representing Barack Obama tried everything they could to sway the judge that this case was frivolous, but Carter would have none of it and cut them off several times. Obama's attorneys left the courtroom after about the 90 minut e hearing looking defeated and nervous.

Great day in America for the U.S. Constitution! The truth about Barack Obama's eligibility will be known fairly soon - Judge Carter practically guaranteed it!

Trying Terrorists in Civilian Courts Cripples National Security

NewsMax reports that "The Obama administration is making a dangerous mistake by trying the Detroit airline bomber in a civilian court, says Sen. Kit Bond, the ranking Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee.

Putting Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab will not only pose a threat to the city in which he’s prosecuted, Bond says, but it also hampers the ability of intelligence professionals to get valuable information."

I think a majority of American agree with this statement, I know that I do!

“We’ve learned the hard way that trying terrorists in a federal court comes at a high price,” said Bond, R-Mo.
“First, we lose out on potential lifesaving intelligence, which we need right now. It also in the past has compromised our sources and methods.”

The problem I have and many others have as well, is that the terrorists are NOT American citizens who committed burglary or arson or something like that, they are enemy combatants/ In case anybody forgot, we are at war with these people. Why would we give someone who is NOT a citizen the same rights and access to legal representation in the states when they do not have such protection. They are foreigners and do NOT have the right. I just don't understand the Obama Administration's thinking in this matter.

The NewsMax report continues by stating that "Bond also opposes closing the prison for terrorist suspects at Guantanamo Bay, as President Obama has pledged to do. “Based on what we now know, Gitmo is the best place to keep these enemy combatants,” Bond said. “When you release them, and even worse if you bring them to the United States, that is likely to compromise our national security.”

All we can do at this point is hope that enough support will grow on both sides of the Senate to prevent the closing of the Guantanamo Bay facility. This is my hope at least, and I am sure the hope of a lot of Americans today. However, what concerns me is that the Senate is unwilling to go against the President, who obviously wants to close the facility so I doubt this situation will become reality. The President is determined to close Gitmo and we all know that he usually gets what he wants. Right?

As far as I am concerned, it appears that Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano is naive and does not really understand the task that her job requires to keep us secure. If the Democrats won't admit that we are at war with terrorism and see acts like Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab Christmas Day attempt to harm us as a terrorism threat, then how can they really protect us? Did you notice that, although Democrats will not use the phrase "War on Terrorism", the President finally admitted on television that we are at war with al-Qaeda. The problem with his statement is that we are not at war with just al-Qaeda but with hundreds of terrorist groups (mostly from the Muslim/Arab nations).

I do believe that the President is starting to see things a little more clearly about terrorism but I do not think he is taking it seriously enough yet. If he really understood terrorism the way he should as Commander and Cheif, then why did he take so long to leave his golf game and pay attention to what happened n Christmas day? I would like to believe that he understands but it's hard for me to accept right now.

Obviously our system malfunctioned on Christmas day and that means American still are far from being safe. Bond is right when he questioned: “Is there somebody who is egregiously at fault, or is the system just not adequate to handle all these points?”

NewsMax.com reported that Bond said he is confident in the ability of Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., to conduct a fair, nonpartisan investigation. “She has worked on a very bipartisan basis with us,” he said. “I’m pleased with how the Intelligence Committee is working.”

Are you as confident in Dianne Feinstein to conduct a fair, nonpartisan investigation as Bond? Perhaps you have the same problem I do with the attitude of most Democrats on terrorism. Please leave a comment. I would love to hear from you on this topic.

Women have strengths that amaze men...

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

They don't take "no" for an answer

when they believe there is a better solution.

and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about

a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member,

yet they are strong when they

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you

to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what

Women have vital things to say

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,

Honesty In Government

Jack Cafferty said in the video, that Pelosi promised an honest Congress (more than in the past) and Obama promised an open government with transparency, so he hopes voters will remember this "CRAP" in the mid-elections.

Pelosi and Reed have taken Congress to levels most Americans can hardly swallow these days. I am talking about the secrecy of deals being made behind closed doors (as they are doing with the Health Care plan) and outright lies some in Congress tells to the American people. The American people are getting very sick of it all and fed up with it. I guess a certain Party and Congress think we aren't smart enough to notice what they are doing or else it's that they just don't care what we think. Also disconcerting is the disdain many Politicians have toward Conservative values and the Constitution.

For example, when Pelosi was asked by a journalist if she thinks the Health Care Plan is constitutional, she said with some degree of jest: "Are you serious? Are you serious??" In other words, it sounds as if she believes that Congress is more powerful than the Constitution and that they can do whatever they please. You probably heard her say this several weeks ago because her statement was broadcast on several News Channels.

I hope you will spread the word with this video so people will remember it at election time. It seems that Edward Kennedy's seat is going to be replaced by Brown, a Republican and a number of Democrats are not running this next term, so it may be that Congress will get the message if they haven't messed things up too badly by then. Of course, there are also a lot of Republicans who are not running either so it will be an interesting election. Fox News reported some time back that both the Democrats and Republicans are losing ground and the Independents are growing. Perhaps both parties will finally get the message that we've had enough of their tactics....and perhaps they will shape up, but I doubt it.

Power of Women

Do you appreciate the powerful force that women have in society?

When was the last time you thought about the impact women have on us in general and how we would be without their influence?

At her best, a woman is an angel and an inspiration - exemplifying to most us what womanhood means.

At her worst, however, a woman is the picture of evil - partially responsible for the breakdown of the family unit and the downfall of society.

Women are lovely, soft, gentle, kind, persuasive, and a blessing to society. Also, they represent sensuality, lust, and sometimes naughtiness.

A women can do just about anything she wants today - perhaps even become President of the United States or a ruler of whatever country in which she lives.

The characteristics I just described clearly represent women of today; they are an awesome creation.

Some women are meek and dependent on men, other women are physically and emotionally strong and very independent - rarely needing the assistance of a man.

A woman can be a blessing or a thorn in man's side. This would depend on whether she is selfish and self-serving or not and if her agenda is in agreement with his.

Alas, womanhood also represents the warm and gentle arms every man and child looks for when they are hurt or need love. She gives him a warm place to fall or is his soft pillow when he has had a bad day.

Women create a lovely home environment and makes life bearable in a dreary world.

• She has the ability to make the world go away and become a heaven on earth instead.
• She is the ray of sunshine in the center of a hurricane.
• She is the lovely smell of flowers in the midst of a garbage pit.
• She is everything good and bad all wrapped up into one neat package.
• She encompasses what most men would die for, and still she has energy left to raise a family.
• She is a multi-task expert as a house-keeper, bookkeeper, executive secretary, cook, teacher, childcare specialist, counselor, errand girl, professional buyer, party planner, hostess, sex partner, and confidant.

Sometimes a woman is misunderstood and under-appreciated: she's seen as just "plain Jane" and nothing very special or interesting. This is a sad situation, not only for the woman but for the man as well because he is missing out by not enjoying her beautiful qualities.

"Make an ugly woman your wife and you will be happy for the rest of your life" are words taken from a song that I enjoyed in the 1960s. There is wisdom in those words. What one man sees as ugly could be beautiful to another, especially when she is allowed to bloom and be herself.

A women needs to be cherished for her divine nature and loved for her loving heart. She needs to be appreciated for her kindness and compassion, for her ability to soothe an aching spirit and soul, and for her ability to nurse our physical wounds and sufferings.

A woman is a creature that not only encompasses everything good, she is sexual enough to satisfy the wild beast in man - without question, she is a marvelous and extraordinary creation!



Take the time to contemplate on the blessing she is to you. If she is not a blessing, then please take her aside and tell her how you feel. Ask her how you can help her become more of who she wants to be. Give her the support she needs to be that person and to be more of what you want her to be as well.

Take the time to remember the women you fell in love with, even if it has been over 50 years of marriage. Tell her often that she is important to you and that you care about her happiness.

Teach your children to appreciate women and to honor and respect them. Teach them to treat women properly and to love them with care and attention. Just as you take care of a beautiful flower to keep it blooming, be sure to take care of your beautiful woman so she can keep blooming.

Men will feel more like men when they treat women with respect and kindness, and women will reward them with the things they want when they do.
