FYI From AsAMom.ning.com

FYI (For Your Information) I am posting a copy of the email I received from http://AsAMom.ning.com.

Disreputable people will try to attach themselves and their work with other who are reputable. Notice that our organization and those working together with this organization will try to discredit our work by doing things like this. When we are the target, that means we are doing something right. This is important. We need to work together with other organizations who have the same agenda as we do, and not ever do something that discredits the work that we stand for and that others in our cause stand for. Just remember that what you do is bigger than you and that you represent this entire movement.

As A Mom...
A Sisterhood of Mommy Patriots

Some of you have received an e-mail calling for a rally/ gathering/ protest at an elected official's home in Florida.

This was NOT sent out by the administration of As A Mom. We do not endorse nor condone behavior or events like this.

If you receive a message like this in the future, please know it did not come out from our organization and do check the front page or contact us to verify.

All events officially endorsed by AAM will appear in the EVENTS listings.

Thank you.

Be The Solution Not The Problem

0fmVX9stT

How do we become part of the solution, in these times, without being part of the problem?

What are we doing to be a problem? I suspect that whining and complaining about the challenges we face are both part of the problem and an irritant, especially when we have nothing to contribute or to help improve the situation. What do you think?

Being part of the problem does not help anyone, it just makes things more difficult to handle. Being overly positive about things will only irritate people around us and make them want to scream, so that isn't being the solution either.

Writing to our Representatives and telling them how mad we are at them will not make them want to do what we want! Telling them that we appreciate what they do for us and that we will be glad to re-elect them if they start voting the way the majority wants won't work either. While they may appreciate the compliment, threatening them will not influence them to do a thing for us. What we need to do is tell our representatives how we feel about an issue and why we feel the way we do, and then ask them to consider our views when they vote.

I assure you, I had not been that positive when writing to my representatives in the past, but I have changed. Now I consider the stress of their work and the pressure they are under when voting a specific way. I never considered their positions before, because I want what I want and they aren't giving it to me. Sound familiar?

We can't changed anything when all we do is complain and offer no answers or suggestions. Although we may have no idea of how to change things we object to, we can at least tell those in power how we feel and ask them what they can do to resolve our concerns.

Problems don't go away on their own, they get resolved through negotiations or by default. Do we want the problems we face to be resolved through default because no one objected or gave suggestions? I'm one who believes being proactive is more satisfying than letting life happen to us.

For instance, my son was in a Counsel Meeting when he objected to some money being given away to an organization. He mentioned that the money was not theirs to give and that doing so was an abuse of their responsibilities as a counsel member.

After my son finished explaining how he felt about giving away property worth $450,000, he received a standing ovation for his remarks. The Counsel decided to vote against giving away the property to that organization. When the meeting convened, many people came up and thanked him for saying what he did and said they agreed with him.

One person changed the mind of the entire Counsel by opening his mouth and telling them what he thought, along with giving them a good reason for voting against it. He appropriately used his power of persuasion to influence the right decision in the matter. If he had not spoken up, the Counsel would have made a mistake and abused their position of responsibility in representing the people of their city.

On the other hand, my son could have been silent or he could have been insulting and demanding about his position and no one would have listened to him. In fact, they would have probably escorted him from the meeting. In this way, my son became part of the solution instead of a problem.

Let us all find a better way to communicate our wishes to our representatives and use our power of persuasion to influence a change. Perhaps they will accept our position, and perhaps they won't. All we can do is try. We may never know what affect we have on someone, but for sure, we will have no affect if we keep our mouth shut.

Our representatives need to know that their constituents are paying attention to them and that we will influence their re-election next term. Then they will pay more heed to meeting the needs of those they know are watching them.

Now, do you see how these same principles can apply to your family and social conflicts? Do you see how to use these techniques to improve your concerns in all aspects of your life? Becoming the solution instead of the problem improves life in so many ways.

I would be interested in hearing your stories and how you succeeded in applying these principles. I sure there must be many stories like my son's. I hope you will share them with us.

When The Dollar Collapses, What Then?

When the dollar collapses and people lose their money, their jobs, their homes, and their family members who can't handle these losses, then what do you think comes next? Obviously, the country will be in chaos. Then what will happen? Marshall Law will be necessary to control the masses, because people are going to be very angry at the government for allowing that to happen. They will want to take out their anger on Congress and this administration for running up a huge debt, for printing money out of thin air, much like past Presidents have done, and for putting America and the dollar on the brink of disaster. Can you see the picture I am painting for you? And then what? I suspect a civil war, the likes of which we have never known.

People like us who write blogs, TEA Party protesters and anyone who speaks out against the government will be hunted down and put in prison for civil disobedience. You don't believe this will happen? Why do you think President Obama has been practicing for such an event by putting troops in neighborhoods, block by block, stopping cars and going into homes? Why do you think the President has tested sound to take down a crowd in Philadelphia riots, and why has he sent black hawk helicopters over neighborhoods in the early part of the year? Why does FEMA have many closed and empty prisons being renovated with barbed wire going inward to keep people in? And why is FEMA ordering ten thousand plastic coffins? Why is there 600 prisons all over the county just waiting for people to put in them? There are 75 counties in Texas, my home-state, who are slated to become prisons.

You really need to see all four of these videos below and then tell me what you think about of of this that I've been saying. Please don't tell me that this is all conspiracy theory, just as other people do who have not done any research, because I've seen dozens of videos and lots of reports that support what this man is saying.

In the first video, he talks about FEMA camps. I've seen videos that show them. Just check out my vodpod at Americas Demise. do exist to control the masses. Think about it, who would be the ones put in all these camps? Well, can you say dissidents, TEA party protesters, freedom fighters trying to restore the rights we've lost? Could it be you for speaking out against the government? Look how much freedom we have lost already and it hasn't even been a year yet. What do you think America will look like by this time next year? I predict we will be in a civil war, those who believe we need government and those who say I won't live in a government that takes away our rights and dominates through dictatorship. Mark my words. I would like nothing more than to eating those words this time next year but I doubt that will be the case.
today

Obama has already practiced troops in neighborhoods going from block to block. Why would he have the military practice such a thing if he doesn't expect it? If he expects it, then why would he expect civil unrest? They institute rioting so they can institute marshall law.

This guy ridicules Glenn Beck and Fox News. Basically, Alex Jones says that marshall law is being set up with fake polls and fake news reports to get people to believe loss of freedom is good because we need it.

Congressmen are saying they don't know what is in the emergency plan and that they have been threatened to pass bill or there will be marshall law. Please wake up and stop this before it becomes reality.

Need more proof? Here it is, dated two days ago!

Obama Comes Right Our and Admits He's Muslim

How do you feel about the contents of this video?

Do you have a problem with Obama being a Muslim?

How do you feel about him saying that America is NOT and will never be at war with Islam?

First of all, America is the home of many Muslims and I believe the President wants them to feel like America is their home. I have no problem with it in that aspect, if they are law-abiding people. I also don't have a problem with Obama being Muslim. However, I do have a problem with him being Muslim as President for the following reasons:

  • I do when he told us all that he is Christian and not Muslim.

  • I do have a problem when he is the President of a nation who is truly at war with Muslim nations that have attacked the United States.

  • I do have a problem with him being Muslim when we have tons of Muslims in this nation that say their allegiance is to Allah first and to their citizenship as an American second.

  • I have a really big problem with him bowing to a Muslim King!! Yes, I have a very big problem with him bowing when he is the leader of this nation. A handshake is appropriate enough and what any king expects from an American leader.

  • I would appreciate your thoughts after you watch this video. Be truthful, tell me how really feel and not what is politically correct.

Being Positive In A Negative Economy

Most reports we hear on television right now are negative and about problems with living in our times. It's negative news on the current government administration, negative news on the state of our economy, negative news on the state of the dollar and it crashing soon, negative news on events going on around the world, and negative news on the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. With all that negativity, how do we find something to be positive about today?

I enjoyed church this week, it inspired me to think more positive about the gloom and doom going on around me, so I thought it would be a good idea to share some of what I learned with you. Take it for what it's worth to you and apply whatever you feel will help you deal with the negatives in your own life.

The first thing I learned is that how we deal with our circumstances is all about perspective, the way we view events taking place around us. We may choose to live in our own little world and think all is well, we can accept the reality of the world we live in and complain about it, or we can choose to accept things as they are but be positive in our responses to what we see and hear.

The way I see it, we have a choice to be negative or positive about our environment. If we choose to be positive, we may need to change our mindset. Also, we may need to challenge ourselves to do something that helps us live in the world but not of the world. In other words, we make the choice to be positive. Also, accepting that we are not alone in this world and that there is no need to suffer through it by ourselves gives us a sense of well-being. We have each other, we have our communities on the Internet and at home, and we have a "Father in Heaven"; a being who loves us and will protect us in the safe cocoon that he provides for us.

In this way, we are much like a grove of trees. Trees standing close together catch another when it falls. Also, trees lean against another until someone comes along to either tether them up to something in order to straighten them or to cut them down.

We can become as a grove of trees. This means we catch each other when someone falls to prevent him or her from toppling over in a life storm or becoming washed away in the torrent. Also, it means we allow someone to lean on us for awhile until he or she tethers themselves to whatever helps them straighten up and stand again.

As we become more like a grove of trees in a storm, we gather strength from each other. This strengthens us as we fight the challenges we face right now, and helps us weather the brunt of our economic storm. By standing closely with each other, we know we have someone near who understands what we are going through and knows how to help us. This knowledge alone can be very comforting to us.

Think about it, when we put together our resources, our time and talents, our encouragement, and our love, we can accomplish great things that would not normally be accomplished alone.

Our nation is notorious for standing together in a crisis. Remember 9/11, how we came together to help those afflicted by the disaster! It made us stronger as a nation and as a people. For a short time, we forgot about our differences and about politics, we actually came together and supported each other.

I wrote these thoughts after 9/11/2001, regarding the way people responded to the crisis.
You were an inspiration to this country, as you came together from far and wide across this nation; united in purpose and patriotism.

This was shown in the flags you raised and the songs you sang, in the candles you lit, and the prayers you said.

With heads held high and caring arms spread, you hugged each other as tears were shed.

You were a ray of sunshine in the middle of turmoil, and an inspiration when this country was thrust into chaos.

No one did this alone; we did it together! Together we bridged the chasm of grief and despair, and together we face the future.

Although outraged for what happened that day, we must be united in order to be strong.
I saw people come out from all walks of life and all corners of the world to support the people in New York in their time of need. In addition, I saw this nation reach out to other countries in their crisis as well, and many churches contribute food and supplies to people suffering in a disaster. This is exactly the kind of thing I am talking about; caring for others in our own way and in our own community or online communities.

There are some really hard times in store for us as a nation in the near future. When the dollar crashes, it will cause huge problems for not only America but for other nations as well. Our dollar impacts the world and the world impacts us as well. One of the videos I posted points out that we will be the first to fall victim to over-spending and huge national debt. However, other nations have done the same and will follow the same path as America. So this is going to be a world-wide problem very shortly. This is why we need to become a grove of trees RIGHT NOW and prepare the best we can to respond appropriately to this type of world crisis. I suggest you watch some of the videos I have on my vodpod: Click Here. Also, you will probably like OhWell-ItsOk.com and FamilyBasics.

We would love to hear from you. Give us your advice for helping people who are suffering right now from a troubled economy. This is not just our web site (mine or Terrance's), it's yours too. We want you to be part of our grove of trees. Please tell us your thoughts, questions, and advice. Tell us how you handle the economy problems you face and how you have overcome the trials of our times.

Is America About To Lose Its Sovereignty

On October 14, Lord Christopher Monckton gave a presentation in St. Paul, MN on the subject of global warming. In this 4-minute excerpt from his speech, he issues a dire warning to all Americans regarding the United Nations Climate Change Treaty that is scheduled to be signed in Copenhagen in December 2009.

A draft of the treaty can be read here:

    http://www.globalclimatescam.com/documents/un-fccc-copenhagen-2009.pdf

Chuck Norris has an article in WorldNetDaily with a good analysis of the treaty:

There has been considerable debate raised about Monckton's conclusion that the Copenhagen Treaty would cede US sovereignty. His comments appear to be based upon his interpretation of the The Supremacy Clause in the US Constitution (Article VI, paragraph 2). This clause establishes the Constitution, Federal Statutes, and U.S. TREATIES as the supreme law of the land. Concerns have been raised in the past that a particularly ambitious treaty may supersede the US Constitution. In the 1950s, a constitutional amendment, known as the Bricker Amendment, was proposed in response to such fears, but it failed to pass. You can read more about the Bricker Amendment in a 1953 Time Magazine article:

    http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,806676,00.html

Lord Monckton served as a policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher. He has repeatedly challenged Al Gore to a debate to which Gore has refused. Monckton sued to stop Gore's film "An Inconvenient Truth" from being shown in British schools due to its inaccuracies. The judge found in-favor of Monckton, ordering 9 serious errors in the film to be corrected. Lord Monckton travels internationally in an attempt to educate the public about the myth of global warming.

Anyone who watches the Discovery channels knows the earth is getting warmer because (as other planets are also experiencing in our solar system) it is getting closer to the sun. Closer to the sun a planet gets the more it heats up. In fact, anyone who studies the planet geologically knows that events of the planet getting warmer or colder is nothing new. In man's stupidity and man's agenda, politicians are trying to make more out of this than is warranted.

We cannot allow politicians to use our fears as a tool in their political kits to manipulate us into accepting what we would not normally accept in a regular situation.
